WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?
I play a real mix of music: soul, funk, hip-hop, disco, reggae, house, electro, R&B and more. I like to keep it varied to please all tastes and make the night more eclectic and interesting. However, I can always play more of a specific genre or fit it around a particular theme, like ‘70s disco’, if that’s what you like.
DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?
Yes. I will happily play a few favourite songs you may have on the night. However, please be aware that if a long list is provided beforehand that not all of them will played! It’s my job to play the right song at the right time and I never generally pre-plan what I play. I have to go with the atmosphere of each particular night.
WHAT DO YOU BRING ON THE NIGHT?
I have a full sound system which I can use for up to 150 guests, a Pioneer XDJ-XR all in one professional Controller, 25,000+ tunes I have in my library. I can also use my 2 x Technics 1210 vinyl decks if you wanted an old school vinyl night or connect to Pioneer CDJ's if the venue already has them. I also have 2 lighting rigs and a block LED light.
IS THERE ANYTHING WE NEED TO PROVIDE?
Electrical power, a hot meal and some drinks on the night, please!
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
This really depends on the type of gig it is, the location, how many guests are coming and how much equipment is required etc. Please contact me and give me as much info about your event as you can and I will happily provide you with a quote.
